Savandurga hill :One of the largest monolith hill in Asia. 1226 m above mean sea level. There are two temples at the base of the hill 1) Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple and 2) Veerabhadraswamy temple. Trek starting point is from Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple.
Savandurga hill trek is comes under “one day trek” category which there near to Bangalore.

Best way to find trek route is that just follow Electric poles which goes almost till the peak. Most of the places you will find directions which are painted on rock.
SAVANDURGA TREKKING DIFFICULTY :
Moderate . It all depends on weather condition, In normal weather condition savandurga trekking is considered as Moderate for regular trekkers. In rainy seasons it will be “Very difficult”. Better to trek in early morning during summer

SAVANDURGA TREK DISTANCE :
2 Kms (one side) . From “Narasimhaswamy temple” to “Nandi” statue at the peak is about 2KMS(one side), trek consist of many steep climbs. take your own time during this trek.

Average trekker may require 2 to 3 hour to trek this hill.
